The hike to the 7 color hill or vinicunca is for people who do not have much time in Cusco, but still want to see the spectacular scenery near Cusco and Ausangate with a day hike. During the day you will have many spectacular views; where you will be able to stop and take memorable photos.
With our Rainbow Mountain hike you will be able to see one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Ausangate area on a full day excursion and also observe the wildlife of Andean camelids such as llamas, alpacas, and if you are lucky you will probably be able to visualize Condors. In this part of the Andes Cusco traditional life is more preserved than other places around Cusco. There will be the opportunity to talk to real Quechua people.

DAY 1 : RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – ALTITUDE – RETURN TO CUSCO
- Pick up from your hotel around 4:00 am.
- Approx. 3 hours drive to Pitumarka.
- Breakfast and last recommendations from our guide for you.
- There are 05 km between Quesuno and Rainbow Mountain.
- At the top enjoy the panoramic view of the whole Ausangate area.
- Way back to Quesuno by the same road.
- Enjoy the delicious lunch.
- Drive 3:30 hours back to Cusco.
- We leave you in the same place from where we picked you up.
