Cusco & Machu Picchu 4 Days

DAY 01: RECEPTION AT THE AIRPORT AND AFTERNOON CITY TOUR

Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel in Cusco, where you will be served an aromatic coca tea, stimulating for the altitude of the city, then you can rest and have lunch before the start of the city tour.

1:30 pm City Tour: Which includes a visit to the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, Plaza de Armas, main streets, also visit the 04 ruins surrounding the city, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and finally “The Baths of the Inca” Tambomachay, at 6:30 pm. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 2: VISIT TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Our travel agency REAL CUSCO TOUR will pick you up from your hotel at about 8:00 am to start our trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will stop at the natural viewpoints of Qorao and Taray to enjoy the beautiful views of the Sacred Valley. Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Pisaq, which is located approximately 1 hour outside of Cusco. At this point we will appreciate Inca constructions of great importance that served as an area of adaptation of agricultural products. We will have a guided tour of approximately 1 hour and then we will return to the town of Pisaq where the most popular handicraft market in the area is located.

Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Urubamba, passing through traditional villages such as Coya, Lamay and Calca along the way we can also observe impressive mountains that surround the sacred valley of the Incas.

At 12 noon we will arrive in Urubamba, here we will have a stop of approximately 1 hour to enjoy a buffet lunch.

Our next stop will be the town of Ollantaytambo, which many refer to it as the city where the Inca lived, as it still retains its original structure. We will visit the archaeological site that bears the same name as the town, this excursion ends at approximately 4:00 pm.

This afternoon depending on the availability of train schedules, we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town) the trip is 1 hour and 40 minutes, upon arrival our staff will pick you up at the train station and then we will arrive at the selected hotel, you will have time to have dinner and visit the town of Aguas Calientes. Overnight.

DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR IN MACHU PICCHU

Very early in the morning after breakfast we will board the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu, this tour is approximately 40 minutes. At the archaeological site, we will immerse ourselves in the enigmatic beauty and unparalleled Inca engineering perfection of the site, which has made it one of the new 7 wonders of the world. We will have a 2-hour guided tour accompanied by a specialist guide who will explain the history of the site.

After the excursion, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. There, you will have time for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our tourist class transportation will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco directly to the hotel indicated at the end of our services.

DAY 4: MORAY SALT MINES TOUR AND TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT.

This day our travel agency REAL CUSCO TOUR will pick us up at the hotel at 8:30 a.m. approx. We will visit the tourist attractions of Moray (agricultural experimentation center), Maras (colonial town), the salt mines of Maras and the handicraft market of Chinchero where you can make the last purchases or souvenirs. At the end of our tour we will have time to have lunch, pack our luggage and head to the airport at the indicated time.

Preferably have the flight back in the evening. End of our services.
