Pick up from your hotel or hostel.

We go to Mollepata 2 hours drive in our bus.
Enjoy an energetic breakfast for the trek.
We continue 1 hour more in our transport to Soraypampa.
Start the hike from Soraypampa to Laguna Humantay.
Enjoy and visit the beautiful turquoise lagoon.
Take amazing pictures with the Humantay Lake.
Return to Soraypampa going down the same trail.
Continue on our transport to Mollepata.
Have a delicious lunch to recover your energies.
Return to Cusco.

Itinerary

MOLLEPATA (BREAKFAST AND LUNCH) SORAYPAMPA – HUMANTAY LAKE – LUNCH – CUSCO

Our professional mountain guide will pick you up from your hostel or hotel between 4:20 to 4:40 hrs. You must tell our travel company the location of your stay one day before departure and you will have to wait for us ready for our hike to Laguna Humantay.

The temperature during the first hours of our trek to reach Humantay Lake is cold (5 to 9 ° C) so you need to bring a sweater, jacket, hat and gloves. This will keep you comfortable during this time of travel to Mollepata. After 2 hours we will arrive in Mollepata where we will stop for breakfast and get the last things you might have forgotten to buy in Cusco like water, snacks or others.

After breakfast there is 1 hour more in our transport to Soraypampa. When you arrive to this area you will be able to see the beautiful mountains and snow-capped peaks like Salkantay (6230 meters above sea level) and Humantay (5250 meters above sea level). Then we will get ready and carry our small backpack to start the hike to Humantay Lake Peru for 1 hour or 3 km. The trail to Humantay Lake is steep however our small groups and our guide will take their time to enjoy and reach Humantay Lake without pressure.

After enjoying our first view of Humantay Lake there is an option to walk a short climb to the right or left side of the lake where you can enjoy a panoramic view.

Next we have the easy part of our hike. We have to hike down to SorayPampa for 1 hour. Then we will take our private transportation back to Mollepata where a local lunch will be waiting for you. We finish lunch and return to Cusco.

We will arrive in Cusco between 17:00 and 18:00 hrs.
